I hope you and your wife are well. Its been a few years since i saw you after leaving Brookes to complete my degree in my hometown of Portsmouth. I very much miss your classes!

I was just talking about SOMA to a work colleague, and thought i`d look up the site to see how you guys are all doing. Glad to see the school is going from strength to strength!

Also, i would like to congratulate you on becoming a Master.

Thankyou for all that you taught me during the 2 years i was at Brookes. I very much hope that our paths cross again in the future. All the best.

I hope you and your wife are in good health, and congratulations on your post of Vice Principal of the Oxford TaiJi GongFu Institute.

I am now finishing my third and final year of Law at Brookes, and due to important final exams and a hefty number of courseworks and presentations which have been crammed into this semester, I have been unable to attend SOMA for some time. I was therefore hoping to be able to say my goodbyes in person before leaving entirely, however the SANSAO website informs me that lessons have been suspended until further notice.

Therefore I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you unreservedly for your training, which was very much enjoyed for the two years I attended. I am certain it will be very difficult to find another school with the patience, helpfulness, devotion, and level of skill I found at SOMA, in addition to the real-life style of teaching which I wholeheartedly agree with. I also very much regret not being able to go for my white sash, as that would have been a very proud achievement alongside my degree.

As I mentioned to you some time ago, I am still hoping to attend the Shaolin Academy in northern China, as I feel this is an opportunity not to be missed. I hope that on completion of this, and assuming you will continue your teaching at Brookes, I will return for a few
classes and hopefully be of an adequate level to go for the white sash again.

Until then, I wish you and your wife all the best, and please pass on my regards to the other students, especially Martin and Andy who were invaluable to the school.

Warm regards,
Julian Braithwaite
